This ecological shopping centre features one of China's largest indoor botanic gardens as well as interactive sports and culture facilities, family and child-friendly activities and a vibrant selection of places to shop and eat. With thousands of plants covering a wide range of species, visitors feel as though they have walked into a rainforest. The multi-level garden connects with each of the centre's seven levels and features elevated walkways, public seating and hanging plant fixtures. The children’s zone features a themed playground resembling a city while the multi-sports events area features a gaming space and an iconic staircase for audience seating. The vast, high ceilinged Open Lab Cultural Forum provides a calm public space for reading, offering comfortable seating and open views.

Design highlights

The indoor botanical garden has three distinct themes – the Soul Tree, the Aerial Forest and the Riverside Hills. The garden has a 24-metre airborne waterfall and also features an innovative light show.
