Winner spotlight: the Electron Pendant

An LED pendant that combines elegance with energy efficiency has been recognised in the World Interiors News Awards 2018. Karice Enterprises’ Electron Pendant won the Lighting Products Award in these prestigious awards, which were presented in London earlier this month.

The pendant’s simple geometric form and clean detailing won it the judges’ praise. They summed it up as, “a decorative piece, that uses form, materiality and light.” This aesthetic has been achieved using complex manufacturing processes, carried out in house by Karice.

The pendant is part of the Electron lighting series, and follows on from Karice’s wall sconce. It is illuminated with LED strips through frosted clear acrylic along its inner and outer rings. The double-sided lighting maximises illumination.

The WIN Awards 2018 showcase the very best global creativity and talent in interior design across categories covering interior products, practice, projects and branding concepts. The full list of winners of the WIN Awards 2018 is here.
