Unique home showcases new development

Studio Aro has designed a building to showcase new development in Vietnam.

by Magda Ibrahim 08 January 2019

The striking design along the main road of Hanoi to Lang Son aims to create a unique visual attraction that promotes urban sustainability.

Studio Aro has designed the Fly Box representative center ahead of the planning of a new urban development in Voi - Lang Giang - Bac Giang.

The new center aims to help homebuyers better understand the appearance, materials, and functions of the design when buying a home here.

The main façade of the build is east, so the building was affected by the sunshine in the morning and afternoon.

Aro's architects rotated the main façade of the build to the southeast to reduce the amount of light while solving the problem of natural ventilation for the project.

This reduces the amount of power consumption by air conditioning, while the landscape is used by the architects to create simple gardens and sun protection.

As the project is in the mountainous, midland area of Vietnam, the architects surveyed the local geography and were inspired by the curves created by the mountains and clouds.

Inside is the reception area showcasing the miniature urban model exhibit, in a space almost entirely surrounded by glass to create a connection between man and nature.

The wall is natural stone and combines with a change of ceiling height to reflect the terraced fields of Vietnam’s midland area, creating a unique space for the works.
