A waterfall and rugged industrial interior have given a modern, subversive edge to a new restaurant.

The industrial-style interior of the diner specialising in Korean cuisine combines color contrasts and scrap-like materials such as bicycle wheels, brickwork, concrete and timber recycled from houses.
5A Architects divided spaces to offer both privacy and a sense of community. The aesthetic combines three elements: industrial chic, recycled materials and natural elements.

Brick, concrete, metal and timber were arranged in a rhythmic and powerful way while vibrant colors created youthful contrasts and drew the eye.

5A Architects also salvaged brick and wood from traditional houses pulled down in the process of urbanization to make way for reinforced concrete alternatives.
Inside Meat Plus, in the Ham Nghi part of Hanoi, these recycled materials including old bike rims bought from scrap sellers remind diners of Vietnam's past.
