Nowadays, spaces with excessive decorations and superfluous colors usually bring us chaotic visual impact. The designer has broken the routine in this project. Different from the usual expressionism, he has created a tranquil and beautiful living art gallery with minimum design, simple skills and modern art elements. This project was completed in July, 2018, covering an area of 1100 sqaure meters.
A stone counter stands against the bare concrete wall, simple and elegant. The French window on the right introduces the natural light and views into the space. A dynamic installation by Italian designer Federico Picci with pink balloons brightens the grey space, as the balloons floating up and down in the light and shadow.
Walking down along the staircase, linear elements can be easily found. Longitude lines and horizontal lines are interwoven, adding a rhythmic and elegant touch. Paper sculptures by the English artist Richard Sweeney hang in the air, soft and smooth, to echo the transparent architectural model area.
Prisma furniture by Derlot matches the transparent marble counter and black background with its white prismatic lines, creating a harmony between hardness and softness, smoothness and roughness.
By employing austere wood, elegant items, simple colors and natural concrete, the designer has tried to show the tranquility of the space and explore the supreme beauty in simple life.
