2019 WIN Awards Entry: Shaoxing•YANGO Tanyue Sales Center

Shaoxing•YANGO Tanyue Sales Center is an entry in the Residential Developments category at the 2019 World Interiors News Awards.

by Jessica Evans 17 May 2019 2019

Completed in December 2018, covering an area of 472 square meter, the project was designed for  YANGO Group, which has now become the top 500 enterprises in the world and set up more than 30 branch offices around China.

The "flowing water and floating cloud" design inspiration delivers a unique atmosphere of the Jiangnan area known as the water town in China by filling the space with elements of the form of running water. It also emphasizes a sense of depth of space, adopting special materials to create applicable functional areas.

Scattered on the sides of the main visiting route, we use the transparent glass bricks to distinguish the negotiation area and the restroom. Here, the glass is taken as the water in nature, which is pure and alive and can stimulate the viewer’s imagination. The entire glass brick echoes with the subtle changes of the environment, integrating with the space, where the restroom seems to be invisible in this artful layout.
