Evoking memories of the landscape, Coast is inspired by travel, adventure and freedom. Designed to bring a sense of calm into your home, the “Kelly” Chair is an indoor sun-lounger that enables maximum airflow and comfort for a tropical environment. Proportioned to allow for two sitting styles, it is ideal for slouching.

The chair’s pleasing structure has been well designed using the minimum of structural elements, creating a chair that’s incredibly lightweight and strong. The proportions allow for flexible sitting arrangements and even becomes a daybed for children. The chair evokes a sense of travel and modernity and is suitable for a range of interior environments.

Daniel Boddam designed the Kelly Chair based off his wife’s proportions for his own home in Byron Bay in Australia. Daniel wanted the chair to be a statement piece whilst still being simple and elegant.

It is important that the Coast collection is as sustainable and environmentally conscious as possible. Daniel spent a great deal of time researching each element to source a luxurious product that was ethically produced using boutique makers. The materials used to produce the chair were made using sustainably forested timbers and woven rattan, finished in oil. Very little material was used for this piece.

Daniel Boddam’s philosophy is that each project embraces his ethos of considered simplicity and is articulated consistently throughout every project.
