Hong Kong West Kowloon Station - Aedas; one of the largest below-grade rail terminuses in the world, maximizes civic gestures both externally and internally. The design includes a sunken atrium hall space that offers views of the central district of Hong Kong, giving travelers an immediate impression that they have arrived. This view is facilitated by the ‘Civic Plaza’ and an accessible green roof that gestures toward the harbor.

Istanbul Airport - Grimshaw, Nordic-Office of Architecture, Haptic Architects, Scott Brownrigg, Fonksiyon / TAM / Kiklop is the largest single terminal under one roof in the world. Inspired by the vibrant city of Istanbul, with a modern take on classic, Turkish architecture, Istanbul Airport provides an iconic transport-hub for a world-class city, improving connectivity to Istanbul, Turkey and the rest of the world.

The architects of the Hackney Wick Train Station - Landolt + Brown collaborated with artist Wendy Hardie, to develop a project that explores overlapping themes drawn from the Lee River and Hackney Wick’s lost chemical industries. The concrete structures required to form the underpass and retaining walls reflect the silty waters of the Lee, and cement mixes and terrazzo reflect the gravel paths and concrete planks of the local towpaths.

To increase the quality of life in De Pijp, Amsterdam and improve the attractiveness of the public domain, the Albert Cuyp Underwater parking garage Amsterdam – ZJA Zwarts & Jansma Architects was built; the first of its kind under an Amsterdam canal. The parking garage reveals almost nothing at street level and is completely concealed to blend into the urban landscape. The project has allowed the former parking areas to be redesigned to create more public space for new playgrounds, plants and squares.

Ilan and Asaf Ramon International Airport – Amir Mann, Moshe Zur, Ami Shinar, Orna Zur Architects servicing the Red Sea resort city of Eilat and the surrounding region, is Israel’s first "Greenfield”, built from scratch without existing infrastructures in the midst of the Desert. A unique and minimal design was developed, influenced by the futuristic world of aviation and its seemingly timeless natural desert surroundings.

Salesforce Transit Center – Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects is a transit station in San Francisco, connecting the city to the region, state, and nation. In the spirit of New York’s Grand Central Terminal and London’s Victoria Station, the Transit Center’s light-filled spaces give San Francisco a grand entrance that befits its status as a world-class city. The heart of the transit center is the rooftop Salesforce Park. Dense with nature and activities, and woven into the landscape, the park offers a recreational area for the local community of San Francisco.

CF Eaton Centre Bridge revitalises a connection between two shopping malls in downtown Toronto. The dynamic sculptural form creates a civic landmark for the City of Toronto, designed to enhance the experience of the urban realm for both passers-by and for the bridge users within.
