Aurecon 25 King Workplace - Woods Bagot creates a home for its people, clients, collaborators and visitors. Located in Australia’s tallest and largest engineered timber building, the workplace signifies a deep connection with Aurecon’s commitment to sustainability, innovation and to providing the best environment for its people. The building celebrates the use of engineered timber, where the interior ensures timber remains the hero by leaving the soft grain of the soffit exposed. With a design that puts people and how they will use the building at its heart, the fitout is targeting a WELL Silver Interiors rating.

Northern Trust is a leading provider of investment management and banking solutions for corporations, institutions and affluent individuals worldwide. NOS wanted its new facility in Pune; Northern Trust - Space Matrix, to speak volumes in terms of aesthetics and higher design quality as its purpose would be to host business leaders & recruit new stakeholders across the globe. The office was designed to promote innovative thinking and cross-business collaboration. Channelling the 5 senses promotes productivity, and Space Matrix have proposed a versatile design to accommodate the client satisfaction.

Elkus Manfredi Architects transformed office of Charles River Associates, Chicago - Elkus Manfredi Architects, re-inventing the company’s low-ceilinged office into an airy, daylight-filled workspace. The architects balanced private spaces for focused work with inviting gathering areas for the relaxation and spontaneous exchange that is equally crucial to peak staff performance. The design is inspired by the city’s industrial roots, sophisticated urban elegance, and Midwestern hospitality, all lifted by a fresh palette of blues and whites that speaks of the sky and Lake Michigan outside the office windows.

In need of a space to accommodate their growing staff, Spin Master engaged iN STUDIO as interior designer and consultant for their new headquarters in Toronto; Spin Master - iN STUDIO. The resulting design reveals Spin Master’s story in an engaging way, while simultaneously serving as an incubator for the ideas that are hatched in their office every day. Open areas for team brainstorms are featured throughout, along with a cafe and town hall area for larger staff meetings.

The steady growth in the size of the teams both at the architecture studio (SMA) and the real estate development firm (GSM) made it necessary to design and build a new headquarters; GSM SMA HQ - Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos. The new working dynamic and the operational transition were among the challenges to be addressed, becoming the guiding principles of the design. The intention was that these determinants should not alter the existing work environment, which encourages each employee to appropriate their workspace and feel comfortable.

Fine + Rare HOME - Studio Mackereth / with Ceremony was a design collaboration between Studio Mackereth and Nicholas Chandor Ltd. The space is for a luxury brand called ‘Fine + Rare’, a company with renowned sommelier expertise that stewards and curates wine collections for their clients around the world via an online platform from which to buy, sell and store the world’s finest and rarest wines and spirits.

The global law firm Baker McKenzie wanted to explore the idea of a new kind of law firm environment that would address how law firms work now and will work in the future. Baker McKenzie leased a half floor in their building at 815 Connecticut Ave. to experiment with a new type of law office; Baker McKenzie Office, Washington DC - SKB Architecture and Design. Each room has different types of furniture and can accommodate various types of uses from formal meetings to late night video game breaks, and natural light filters through the entire office.
