Designs combine luxurious feel of space, oriental aesthetics and contemporary life styles

by Emilia Nuzzaci 18 September 2019 2019

Tiny Holiday home - i29 interior architects & Chris Collaris has a luxurious feel of space, and all around panoramas to the surrounding nature regardless of its small size. This compact home is built for a family of four, including a living room, a kitchen/dining room, a patio, three bedrooms, one bathroom and two toilets. The layout is developed from the inside-out, the smart arrangement of functions make use of every bit of space.

The Studio was immediately intrigued by the Zaha #35 - LUCE et studio project because of previous interactions with Ms. Hadid and their admiration of her work. They carefully studied the given floor plan, examining Zaha’s intent for the interior of the unit. The floor plan maintains Zaha’s original concept of dividing kitchen and living spaces with an iconic art piece, and is a fitting homage to great architecture.

In the Xiamen Avic Peninsula Villa Jade Mansion - HCD IMPRESS project, the designers adopted the skill of simplified European style, and by combining Oriental aesthetics and contemporary life style, redefined a new lifestyle for the urbanites. The project adopts fashion and art as well as natural and oriental elements. The design gets rid of a restriction of styles and is a fusion of cross-regional and cross- culture.

Fanø tells a story of the creative connections that released a client’s dream of a sand-dune retreat in the Danish archipelago. Completed in March 2018, Tollgård designed the FANØ - Tollgård Design Group interiors alongside renowned architect Knud Holscher. Fanø is a place to decompress and connect with nature. These were the client’s hopes and dreams for their sand-dune retreat, and the amount of time they are drawn back to it is testimony to its success.
