Bentel & Bentel designed the The Palms Casino Sky Villa – Empathy Suite - Bentel & Bentel, LTDto exceed the expectations of a new, better informed guest mentality. They kept the language and syntax of minimal architecture, whilst emphasizing the meticulously crafted material palette of white veined gray marble, bleached white oak, frosted water-clear glass, cream white leather, and polished stainless steel.
Las Vegas is known for excess. Virserius kept the The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Virserius Studio hotel charismatic, making sure the design was playfully tasteful, but not ostentatious. Each room serves as a theater stage, with the artwork serving as characters, as well as an invitation to guests to see themselves as players, too. The firm employed techniques to bring sophistication and edge to the art, and all the pieces were custom made and we used jewel tones to evoke a sense of luxury.
For the W Atlanta Midtown - Virserius Studio concept, Virserius Studio imagined a fictional character, “Arthur,” a native Atlantan. The hotel is the recreation of Arthur’s estate and secret garden, decorated with his awe-inspiring collection of art and other items obtained during his extensive travels. From the moment guests arrive they are transported into Arthur’s unique world. The idea for the suites was to treat visitors to a layered art experience with different graphics, sculptures and installations that tell stories and treat guests to the unexpected.
InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland - CCD/Cheng Chung Design(HK) has been constructed inside an abandoned quarry, to fit into the surrounding environment, the interior design of the hotel has applied ‘Aesthetics of Mining ’concept as a reference. As to incorporate the inspiration into the design, and to find a balance between the natural landscape and human beings. The interior design of the hotel is closely attached to the natural landscape, people would be confused when they are inside the hotel, whether they are having a cave adventure tour or staying at a luxury hotel.
