As Hyundai Card moves towards an increasingly digital culture, seeking to deliver its digital-focused design innovation to customers, the firm required a new work environment; Pixel Factory - Gensler. Gensler set out to create an environment which would help the firm optimise, attract and retain the talent that it needs to focus on its digitalisation effort, whilst helping employees flourish in a vibrant and comfortable space. In keeping with the industrial aesthetic, environmental graphics and wayfinding programme is largely based on factory graphics with a raw and unpolished design language.
Carlson Capital relocated their New York offices in November 2017 to the Seagram Building originally designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The design team’s solution - Carlson Capital - DLR Group | Staffelbach, a work environment that conveys adherence to the original intent of quality. Using functional and elegant materials, the design team created a contrast of light and dark tones that convey a warm sense of hospitality to clients and guests.
ID21’s move to a loftier duplex unit in the same office block presented an opportunity to give the staff more generous and inspiring premises, as well as reinvent workplace design to showcase ID21’s creative capabilities. The ID21 Office - Leading the Way in Workplace Design - Workplace Design & Build Specialist was designed to maximise the double-volume height and enhance well-being through an airy, naturally-lit environment. To achieve the ideal balance of social interaction, collaboration, and individual concentration, department-based environments are carved out from whilst seamlessly woven in the flow of the open-plan environment.
The AIB Corporate & Customer HQ - RKD space with showcase workspace accommodation for more than 800 staff. Taking advantage of excellent frontage onto Molesworth Street, the workplace concept is built around an internal street linking through to the back of the building to connect garden atrium, café and working areas to the rear along a string axial route. The effect is a largely uninterrupted view from the street right through to the heart of the workspace—reinforcing the idea that this is really a bank of change, openness, collaboration and transparency.
The fit out of a Global Tech Service Company's new European HQ at Dublin's Digital Docklands; Technology Client European HQ - RKD unites the company's Irish operations in a single hub and helps its people fulfill their mission to connect millions of job seekers to new opportunities every day. The client and the design team worked very closely and collaboratively from first introduction, and a positive creative experience has resulted in a very successfully delivered project for both RKD and our client.
