A new Creative Centre for Casalgrande

A new space of about 500m², where visitors can walk through recreated settings of the Casalgrande Padana collections

by Georgina Johnston 17 January 2020

The Creative Centre doubles up, with the Creative Centre 2 joining the existing facility in the Casalgrande headquarters, allowing for a significant expansion of the showroom, ready to host the implementation of the range of ceramic solutions developed by the company. These facilities are essential for effectively showcasing the unique quality and variety of the range, and for engaging in dialogue focused on projects.

The Creative Centres are open to professionals in the sector, and have been devised by Casalgrande Padana to move beyond the traditional concept of a sales showroom. Large Marmoker tiles cover the walls and kitchen islands. The new Macro Collection gives a contemporary twist to the continuous surface of Venetian seminato, extending from floors to walls. They are conceived as a meeting point between ceramics and projects, combining exhibition space with communication, technical information and an intense and organised series of activities featuring important international names in the field of architecture and design.

The success of this formula is demonstrated by the fact that in just a few years, the first Creative Centre, built next to the Casalgrande manufacturing hub on a project by Cerri Associati Engineering, has been joined by the Creative Centre in Milan, in Foro Buonaparte, which has become a point of reference for the architectural community, both in Milan and Beyond.

With growing demand throughout Italy, Casalgrande Padana decided to open a third Creative Centre, in Rome, inaugurated on 24 May.
