Gohong Wenzhou One Mansion by Matrix Design is an entry in the Residential developments category of the 2020 WIN Awards

by Copy taken from 2020 entry 07 May 2020 2020

The project is located at the intersection of the Nanxi Ou River. In the design, the interior space of the building has a subversive and innovative performance. The basic geometric shapes intersect in two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces.

The physical structures are intersected and cut to form a shape scattered in the space, and thus different areas are divided. The design introduces time element above three dimensions, displays time stillness with a suspended space form, introduces the concept of four dimensions, and elaborates the broad and peaceful space artistic conception.

Rebirth and eternity are the subject of this project. It shows the rebirth in the form of geometric innovative combination, and shows eternity with the color of space. Entering into the space, the metal rectangular wall of the reception lobby and the circular hollows set off each other, creating a modern and simple overall feeling.

The design and planning of the sales center model area is located at the core position of the interior space. It connects with other space areas yet has its own pattern. Beige and white are the main colors, and metal and dark green stone are used to increase the sense of levels in space.

Above the sand table, an irregular column extending from the ceiling looks attractive to each other with the sand table model directly below the project, it injects a new force that rises from the ground into the space in form of modern art, majestic and shocking.
