2020 WIN Awards entry: CIFI Nanchang Jade Garden Sales Center - Matrix Design

CIFI Nanchang Jade Garden Sales Center by Matrix Design is an entry in the Category Cultural venues of the 2020 WIN Awards

The interior design gives the project compound theme scenes connotation with library theme plus crystal mineral theme, and provides a highly artistic immersive experience space.

The goal of the design is to present its unique spatial atmosphere, and gradually guide guests through the exquisite exterior space of the building into the world of artistic sea of books and crystal.

In terms of modeling, the goal is to create an internet-famous place in the new city. The original and pure tension of the underground crystal stone has opened the source of inspiration for this design of the matrix.

The creation based on this is an interpretation of the "diamond grid", the carbon atoms are arranged in a crystal structure centered on the surface-creating a dramatic and sculptural space. The interior design scheme not only manipulates the light and shadow, the imagination and reality in the space, but also makes it exquisite with the shape of the building.

The public space is basically parallel to the back office area. The model display at the entrance, the hanging triangular ceiling and the inclined wall make up the welcome area. The inclined wall also has the function of map display. On the left, a single piece of wood-faced prism-like reception desk 'grows' from the floor surface and guides visitors to the main leisure space, the core area of the sales center.

The reception desk, which completes the welcome, is transformed into a water bar in the leisure area.
