The layout of Siheyuan is designed according to the planned height. The external of buildings has two columns deep
There is good sunlight and ventilation for office working in a way of module. The “triple constructions” of the internal of buildings is shaped as the sign ”minus” and forms the uneven cubic “Air View Box” which contains two-layer height for sharing the communication space.
The lower zone of Siheyuan is designed for public service indicating dining, sporting and meeting, etc and for “Garden View Boxes” in different sizes.
The structure of three layers of yards including sunken layer, surface layer and overhead layer creates cubic garden system. Layer-styled platform garden is merged with inner rooms. China wooden structure entitled as the prototype image of Luban Lock mortise-tenon joint reflects patent culture creativity such as stone grating, glass curtain wall combining entity and virtual pattern, and faces the public rooms, which is intermixed with function room.
All these display the rigorous ring lock space logic, healthy green technology integration and polybasic ecological surrounding for office working. The mortise-tenon joint space and cubic garden are showing the fusion of both sense and romance and the harmony of both human and nature.
