The design concept of shared spaces is "creating a shared community that gathers people into one circle”.

It targets at people in different circles of working, study, friends, life and drivers, etc., and uses representative design elements with clear guidance and regional characteristics as the bridge to gather them for better interaction. The design intention is to build a long-rental apartment based on the living pattern and habits of young occupants, hence creating a harmonious social atmosphere. The designers arranged a drop-off area, usually in hotel design, at the entrance and created a 24m * 100m super-scaled inner themed courtyard, which functions as a recreational public space. The circulation with an active living atmosphere enables young and middle-aged occupants to live in an ideal community.

Nowadays, jogging is becoming popular among young people in China and it combines with other rich elements including personal expression, social interaction, career development, public activities and others, not limited to the healthy exercise. Therefore, a 400-metre-long colored plastic “rooftop track” is developed to satisfy the needs of exercise and socialization. The architects carefully arranged exposed pipes and air outlets in exact places. In order to ensure the continuousness of the track, areas that can’t be adjusted are added partly changed lanes or are raised into slopes, the transformation of which actually brings more joy. Moreover, the protruding walls of the equipment rooms are clad in graffiti paintings. And the rooftop platforms serve as gathering places for throwing parties and having other activities.
