The Greenland Bund Centre is a massive mixed-use complex under construction by Greenland Holding Group, a global diversified real estate and infrastructure enterprise, headquartered in Shanghai. It is scheduled for completion by December 2022.

Located in Shanghai’s West Bund, Greenland Bund Centre covers 126,700 sq m with a total construction area of 1.2 million sq m containing super-tall Class A office towers and world-class residential buildings. Greenland’s concept of office and living environments will create a landmark destination that also includes a luxury hotel and an extensive network of public space comprising an 18,000 sq m central green.

Respecting the city’s vernacular, the project integrates the architectural culture of Shanghai's old Chengxiangli Lane into the overall plan and incorporates two historic buildings, the historic 173-year-old Dongjiadu Catholic Church and 305-year-old Merchant Shipping Guild Hall. Gardens and a 7,000 sq m art center provide additional elements.

The residential sphere lies within a radius of 3 km in the CBD. In addition to port infrastructure, there are two large sites reserved for educational projects. This advanced complex will not only change the commercial pattern of the West Bund, but also is destined to become Shanghai's centerpiece for international finance and culture.

Working with industry, universities, research bodies and technology companies, the project produced a number of innovations including a high-performance composite structure, innovative structural state monitoring technology and the first experimental site for a 5G integrated ecosystem, to name just a few.
