The project is located at the northeast corner of the plot with a 20-metre-wide green area between the street and the plot.
The architectural style is modern and simple while its shape draws on the trend of mountain and lake. On 2F, an 18-metre-long viewing platform is formed through a spiral structure. And the grey space under the platform functions as public urban area.
The “blank” front court has an egg-shaped mirrored stainless steel sculpture above the water surface, reflecting views of the overall site and natural environment from multi dimensions. Therefore, the whole site blends with nature harmoniously.
Cement-fibre boards with energy-saving porous structure and steel panels with weather resistance can extend the architecture’s lifespan, which benefit for the reduction of material waste and environmental pollution.Precise customization of radians and the seamless splicing measure bring abundant changes of light and shadow for the geometric structure with curved exterior walls.
The architects hoped visitors to experience the interior and exterior spaces through all sensory feelings. Entering the space, people are attracted by the curved wall. Landscape at the front court serves as transition for leading people to further appreciate the lakeside living pattern. And the viewing platform narrows the gap between human and nature. The whole space creates a pleasant ambience bothin sensory and spiritual levels.
The project is used as sales center at the early stage, and then it will bethe public space. With rich natural resources of Yanming Lake, the project is a picturesque lakeside experience hall.
