Shijiazhuang International Convention & Exhibition Center in Zhengding New District of Shijiazhuang city covers an area of 64.4 hectares and a floor space of 359,000 sq m, including 229,000 sq m above ground.

All areas for conventions and exhibitions extend along the hub in the shape of the fishbone. The multi-elevation pedestrian system facilitates the diversion of people, vehicles and goods. The exhibition area incorporates seven standard exhibition halls covering an area of 11,000 sq m each and one large multi-purpose exhibition hall of 26,000 sq m.

Boasting a floor space of 110,000 sq m. All seven standard exhibition halls are in two-way cable-suspended structure that is rare in the world. The roof outline fits into the local natural and cultural environment. The undulating roof echoes with the flow of Hutuo River nearby, while being highly similar to the roof contour of the ancient city of Zhengding. The idea of energy conservation has been incorporated into the design from the very beginning, which is achieved through natural ventilation, natural lighting, GSHPs and other means in a cost-effective manner.

Shijiazhuang International Convention & Exhibition Center is perfect in functions and design, capable of serving the purposes of holding large conferences and exhibitions. It has played a part in boosting economic growth in the region.

In addition, the design perfectly mirrors the local cultural characteristics and integrates traditional culture with architectural techniques. Since it was put into use in April 2018, it has been well received and widely acclaimed by the public.
