With this project, we want to establish the sales center of the future. It is conceived as a new heart of the community which will be used by all residents of all ages at any time. A place where community can come together and discuss about the future.

The overall concept is the floating city. We imagine the architecture to be the city boundaries. Inside this large container we place a series of different volumes connected by internal streets and squares.

We regard it as the epitome of life in this community where people can imagine and experience their future. The entire project integrates retail, book bar, co-working, conferences, public exhibition, offline events and government meetings.

The Sky City can be imagined as a floating box with different functions integrated into an architectural whole. At the entrance, a 5m-high robot is placed, a strong memorable feature to welcome every visitor. A tribute to “Castle in the sky”, client’s inspirational Japanese cartoon. On the right, the visitors first enter a smart light theater, which will open the first chapter of the community life experience through a 3D projections experience.

The main space is designed to be young and dynamic, totally transparent and with an open plan without barriers. This rendered the space very vibrant. The boundaries between the manifold different activities are blurred and the interactions flourish, while the transparency of the façade let the visitors relate to the surrounding lush landscape.

Last year more than 40 countries took part in the WIN Awards with strong showings from Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. And we saw some truly outstanding interior designs, take a look at the winners from last year here.
