Stage and Convivium private villa in Ukraine by Armando Rho

The Stage and Convivium project saw dialogue with the client and Armando Rho as the starting point for the creation of an intimate, exclusive and distinctive home

by Andrew McCorkell 22 July 2020

A furnishing project that saw a client working closely with Armando Rho aimed to become a masterpiece of ‘fantasy and art’ by drawing on its extensive experience of working with luxury houses.

This living room is the heart of the house and is the most representative place to welcome important guests, according to Armando Rho with Stage and Convivium.

Large sofas and sumptuous armchairs are served by tables and consoles to create intimate spaces that allow for conversation, play and storytelling.

The sofas and armchairs are bright but also deep blue.

Damask is intertwined with gold tones and interacts with the finishing of the base of the tables on magnificent yellow onyx floors.

The contrast of colours is balanced, so the white of the boiserie frames the centre of the room, where blue and gold dominate.

An impressive crystal chandelier dangles from in the middle of the domed ceiling, while the property boasts a catalogue of 1,500 pieces of furniture, each of them customisable on request.
