Miami’s One Thousand Museum releases new designer residence by design duo

One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid Architects has released a new designer residence created by the founders of MORADA, Venezuelan, Fernan I Hernandez and German born Holger Odenstein

by Georgina Johnston 28 December 2020

The designed half-floor residence, named “My Heart is a Jungle”  has four bedrooms, five and half bathrooms, a private elevator, west and east terraces with a total of 5,420 sq ft area.

Taking inspiration from the city’s lush tropical vegetation and its diverse and evolving architectural and cultural dynamic, the apartment is centred around a stunning hand-made rug, crafted in Nepal using silk and Tibetan Highland Wool. The furnishings reflect Hadid’s penchant for curves and the exciting exoskeletal structure of the building, keeping to neutral tones and plush fabrics to emphasise the spectacular panoramas available from the apartment.

The wider development offers a six-star lifestyle, including state-of-the-art gym, sun and swim terrace, extensive spa facilities, an aquatic centre, sky lounge and Miami’s first residential development helipad.

One Thousand Museum was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid and her team and is her first and only residential building in the Western Hemisphere. The unique building redefines the skyline of Miami and is Hadid’s legacy to her beloved city of Miami where she passed away in 2016. It creates a six star lifestyle within an exceptionally elegant private residential tower with over 30,000 sq ft of beautifully designed venues for swimming, sunning, socializing, fitness, and pampering cater to fewer than 100 residences, offering the luxury of abundant space and Miami’s first helipad on a residential tower.
