Supercar Capsule: distinct spatial design

ASZarchitetti Group's unique concept that gives expensive toys a centre stage to captivate audiences

by Georgina Johnston 13 January 2021

Developed by a team of architects and designers for a taste of bespoke luxury, including supercars, the Supercar Capsule is a palette of unique ports that keep the automobile in a closed space, allowing owners’ supercars to emerge as if from a dedicated showroom. It’s an exclusive design service to transform a garage into a private showroom.

The unique space means a supercar contributes to a distinct aesthetic experience at home, even when it’s not on the roads.

The Supercar Capsule comes from Italian consultancy firm ASZarchitetti Group, comprising ASZarchitetti and SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*.

Each Supercar Capsule is custom made for every new setting, with a range of custom options.  The design is based on a range of predefined configurations and these are used as a pinboard for every customised project.

One of the models involves creating a new capsule to merge with a home’s interior. This will incorporate the garage with existing rooms, in which a simple wall will transform into a bespoke exhibition and mean guests and visitors can appreciate and admire a supercar without going into the garage, the car becomes a part of the interior décor.
