The expression of ‘co-working’ revolves around a way of working which fosters a sense of community, interaction, and interdisciplinary, without sacrificing individual needs.
Architects Alessandra Barilaro, Luca del Cucco and Davide Gamba worked on the creation of new departments covering cyber security, teaching spaces in the form of art studios and research labs and offices including a new IT help desk. The project was realized in collaboration with M+N Architecture.
More than 80 workstations will be added to the space, transforming the building into a large laboratory of ideas.

The false ceiling has disappeared, leaving the installations visible, painted black to increase the sense of depth. In an aesthetic and functional continuum, these cross the rooms, going into the structures of the tables, custom-designed and wired to maximise use of the department.
The eye follows the maze of connections drawn by the workstations, islands of work connected by them that in the large volumes of the pavilions produce a smoothly transitional perspective.
nEmoGruppo has punctuated with green even those parts of the building that do not provide light and views to the outside. Dedicated lamps for photosynthesis and timed irrigation systems have also been installed.
