ACPV’s reconfigurable interior design for Taichung’s residential high rise

La Bella Vita’s interiors feature high quality materials and furniture which echo the architectural character of the 128 m high building

by Nav Pal 27 May 2022

Conceived as sculptural, reconfigurable spaces, products include Antonio Citterio’s designs for B&B Italia, Maxalto, Flexform and Flos, that lend an Italian character to the spaces. The materiality and tonality of the interiors evokes an environment where residents can enjoy time alone with guests.

The spatial design creates flexible spaces that transition from one set-up to another. The apartment’s study area is designed to be easily convertible into a secluded sleeping room with the use of transparent sliding doors and curtains.

Stone elements, amber coloured details and lighting design indoors resemble the design of La Bella Vita’s stone balconies and crystalline glass façade.

Units include ample kitchen areas, a generous design of bedrooms each comprising a walk-in closet and a bathroom, and the separation between day and night areas.
