RPM Proget designs Palma Pokè to plate up in Rome

The Pokeria and Sushi restaurant interprets the new food trend, located in the San Paolo district, near the Roma 2 University

by Nav Pal 24 June 2022

With two large windows on the street, the 35 sq m venue offers 20 seats inside and 15 outside, in addition to 35 sq m of basement space, which houses the kitchen, bathrooms and dressing room. A small room adjacent to the street level will be added, which will allow the capacity to be increased by a further 30 seats.

The main element of the space is the large counter with 40 trays for the preparation of the bowls and four containers for the various types of rice. The counter is covered with wooden logs cut in a fish-scale effect that reflects on the blue display case.

The walls are covered in hand-made majolica in blue shades and the floor is in oak-effect porcelain stoneware with a large floral decor made with Clorofilla cement tiles. The ceiling recalls the idea of an aerial pergola, from which a cascade of greenery descends, which complements the swing, large wooden benches and wicker chairs.
