citizenM promise affordable luxury with new Miami Brickell hotel

The project is the first of two hotels planned within the city this year

by Séan Thurgood 21 September 2022

Located in the bustling downtown area, the hotel is designed to blend in with Brickell’s cosmopolitan atmosphere. Featuring eight meeting rooms, a rooftop pool and views of the downtown Miami area, this hotel embodies opulence.

The façade features five vibrant and large-scale artworks by local artist Jen Stark. Commissioned artists Theresa Chromati and Lakwena Maciver have also contributed to the art of the building with Maciver’s kaleidoscopic colours and bold patterns occupying the entrance of the building with the message “Good Life” designed to inspire conversation.

In addition, 70 artists responded to citizenM’s open art call and ten winners were selected to be permanently showcased within the hotel venue.

Miami Brickell’s entrance is a non-traditional lobby inspired by living rooms. This creates a homely atmosphere and is furnished with books, art and furniture. Within the space is also a canteen which serves food and drinks 24/7. The building features two terraces which overlook S. Miami Avenue and the other faces a lush garden space.

Guest rooms have XL king-size beds, power showers and HD TVs with superfast free Wifi and a MoodPad tablet to control temperature, blinds and entertainment.
