Kart Group make multifunctional penthouse living space in Dubai

The property boasts views of The Palm Islands, a self-styled ‘eighth wonder of the world’

by Séan Thurgood 17 October 2022

High above the city streets, the property provides tranquillity and a space for contemplation. Floor to ceiling windows provide ample natural light and the naturally bright colour palette throughout is bolstered by the base colour of white.

The 462 sq m penthouse is enhanced by rich natural textures, shapes and colours in saturated earth tones and shades of blue which are adopted into the overall design, providing a harmonious atmosphere.

Kart brings the beach indoors with a blend of cerulean water colours highlighted by brass shades and softened with silk rugs of sea blue, sand and taupe.

The double-height living space creates an airy space encompassed by a white and muted grey marble which creates an opulent environment. A three dimensional blown glass bauble chandelier casts light throughout the open plan room.

Seating with curved edges mimics the white sands of the Palm, and the artwork that adorns the walls is a nod to beachside living and the ever changing nature of the ocean. The main design feature is the full height marble walls with two vertically recessed brass ornaments that provide a textured finish to the sitting room.
