The former home of naturalists, poets and romantics joins the Troutbeck estate hotel. Set within a bend of the Webutuck River, the guest rooms are split across two floors and enjoy access through individual and private porches.
The upper floor rooms feature private terraces with views of the river and natural landscape. Each incorporates subtly patterned textiles from Brooklyn-based designer Rebecca Atwood and lighting design by Dumais Maid.
The furniture is crafted by Ian Ingersoll and includes bespoke king-sized four post beds finished in saffron and navy, natural grained bedside tables and desks. The overall aesthetic holds a timeless and curated quality.
