This restaurant revamp in Mexico City’s Jardines del Pedregal, has transformed the eatery’s layout. The old entrance created the impression of a fast-food restaurant rather than an elegant place to enjoy Mediterranean food and wine. The goal for the new design: to make customers feel comfortable and relaxed in elegant surroundings. The layout of the tables, a private area and a terrace have been improved with the addition of a bright lounge area, complemented by a chic open terrace. A large kitchen, bar space for drinks and mixology, and an integrated wine cellar with solid teak shelves complete the redesign.
Design highlights
A cosy ambiance has been achieved using terracotta colours, wood and warm lights. Vases, clay, decorative cushions and details woven in natural fibres have also been used, with the vast majority of features created with local brands.
