Project: T33 Full-time Center
Award: Workspace Interiors - Corporate Offices (Over 10,000 SQM), 2024
Location: Shenzhen, China
Design practice: Transsion Holdings with CCD

Client: Transsion Holdings

Set in the Liuxiandong Headquarters Base of Shenzhen, this striking tower for mobile phone manufacturer Transsion, integrates modern office spaces with natural elements to provide a flexible, intelligent and sustainable working environment.

The building’s interior design by CCD and Jiang & Associates alongside the client Transsion Holdings, emphasizes flexibility and diversity. Each floor boasts its own distinctive lobby area, shared meeting rooms and lounge areas. These spaces provide Transsion employees with various options, allowing them to choose their workspace freely according to their needs. The central lobby features the “energy hub” and rotating new media art installations that intertwine to create a multi-faceted public space. The “Transsion Eye” art installation showcases the company’s core brand values of “wisdom, innovation, and youth.”

Design highlights

The design incorporates green elements, vertical greening and rooftop gardens which blur the boundaries between the interior and exterior, bringing forest-like natural landscapes into the office environment. A vertical green strip, resembling a window opening to nature, introduces a refreshing touch of greenery into the urban skyline.

The project employs multiple energy-saving technologies and construction methods to achieve sustainability. The sawtooth façade design on the east and west sides of the building blocks direct sunlight, reducing the building’s life cycle energy consumption and enhancing the physical comfort of the office space.

The design also makes full use of natural ventilation and daylight, reducing dependence on artificial energy sources and creating a pleasant working environment. Extensive use of renewable materials such as bamboo, wood and stone lower the building’s carbon footprint and foster an organic, natural work atmosphere.
