Project: Valtech Headquarters France
Award: Workspace Interiors - Corporate Offices (Under 2,000 SQM), 2024
Location: Paris, France
Design Practice: YAD SPACE
Client: Valtech
YAD SPACE’s French headquarters for Valtech feature a distinct Art Deco flavour in keeping with its location, nestled within the dense urban fabric of Paris. The small office exemplifies the typical historical buildings set within the high density of the French capital but is also a testament to the power of design in fostering innovation.
By strategically connecting two floors with a dramatic staircase, architects YAD SPACE have created a dynamic vertical flow that encourages interaction and collaboration. The heart of the space, an open kitchen, transforms the office into a vibrant hub resembling a bustling café. Over 30% of the area is dedicated to collaborative spaces, nurturing a culture of innovation and shared ideas.
Design highlights
A reimagined front desk, conceived as a hybrid table, breaks away from traditional corporate aesthetics, offering a welcoming and informal entry point. Adding to the Parisian ambiance, a vintage candelaba has been repurposed as a decorative totem, infusing the space with a touch of historical elegance. This design choice, combined with the open kitchen, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, blurring the lines between work and leisure.
“The office is a harmonious blend of historical charm and contemporary functionality, offering a truly Parisian experience where work and inspiration seamlessly intertwine,” YAD SPACE said.
