The swimming pool at the Peninsula Hotel in London offers a striking, immersive relaxation space, enhanced by exceptional lighting and visual effects reflected in the water. It features a Barrisol Lumière® 3D ceiling crafted from recyclable polymer sheeting that diffuses LED light to create visual effects. Lightweight, flexible sheets are mounted on structures made from 80% post-recycled aluminium, allowing for creative shapes and curves. At the Peninsula Hotel, this ceiling forms an elegant, uncluttered canopy, delivering a tranquil sensory experience.
Design highlights
The Peninsula Hotel’s pool project is a testament to innovative and sustainable design in interior architecture. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to create an atmosphere of relaxation and well-being. The Barrisol Lumière® stretch ceiling, combined with carefully chosen materials and soft colours, results in a harmonious, elegant space that invites guests to unwind.
