The WIN Awards has been championing the best in global interior design for 14 years. Following the unveiling of 106 shortlisted finalists, selected across more than 20 categories, winners of the 2024 WIN Awards will be announced from November 14th onwards. You can browse the full WIN Awards 2024 shortlist here.

Interior Designer and Architect Tina Norden, pictured below, has a diverse portfolio stretching across many contexts and continents, from hotel and restaurant design to high-end residential and boutique retail projects. She is passionate about travel and loves designing spaces that enhance the enjoyment of life.

“The standard of submissions to the WIN Awards are always very high, so are the expectations from us on the judging panel,” she says.

She adds: “This year did not disappoint and the thoughtful, innovative and plain beautiful projects submitted were a joy to review and discuss with the other judges.”

Tina, who leads design teams in both the UK and Hong Kong and was instrumental in building the Conran and Partners’ team in Asia, notes that there were “a number of projects that were very people and community focused, really considering how the spaces will be used and integrated.”

She said: “It is great to see this type of project also featuring in a design award where they more than stand up to their competition.”

She added: “There were a number of projects that were low key, using simple, recyclable materials and had a real community focus. It is a joy to see this kind of project which I believe reflects the industry direction as a whole – without detriment to design quality and aesthetics.”
